Assoc. Prof. Xingang Ren is winner of Anhui Talent Plan, currently a senior member of the China Electronics Society, IEEE and OSA members. He has long been engaged in teaching and scientific research in computational electromagnetics, multi-physical modeling mechanisms for optoelectronic devices, and advanced packaging design for integrated circuits. He has won the first prize of Anhui Province Teaching Achievement Award, Anhui University Sanquan Education Award, Anhui University Youth Teacher Teaching Competition Final "Third Prize", University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Program (20192021) and International Mathematical Modeling (First and Second Prizes) as instructors, and has built a high-quality postgraduate course "Mathematical Equations and Numerical Analysis" (2021) in Anhui University. He has presided over two National Natural Science Foundation projects, one industry-university collaborative education project of the Ministry of Education, two Natural Science Foundation projects of Anhui Province, one overseas high-level talent introduction project of Anhui Province, one leading backbone talent project of public universities in Anhui Province, one funding project for research activities of postdoctoral personnel in Anhui Province, and one provincial key quality engineering teaching and research project of Anhui universities, One high-level talent introduction project of Anhui University, one first-class discipline construction open fund of Anhui University, one open project of Guangdong Key Laboratory of Nanomicron Materials Research, one open project of Key Laboratory of Nanodevices of Suzhou Institute of Nanotechnology and Nanobionics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and participated in many national, provincial and horizontal projects as research backbone; He has published more than 50 SCI included papers in journals such as Energy&Environmental Science, Advanced Functional Materials, Nano Energy, ACS Photos, Nanoscale, and Optics Express, including 5 ESI highly cited papers, more than 2100 SCI citations, and a total of 2700 citations (Google Scholar). He has been invited to write one chapter of an English monograph, Served as invited editor of Nanomaterials (IF=5.076) and Frontiers in Materials (IF=3.515), and invited editor of Journal of Nanotechnology. As the first inventor, he applied for 4 Chinese and international invention patents and was granted 3 patents.
